French Region Pays de la Loire
The Pays de la Loire region is ideal for a truly unforgettable holiday. So close to home, yet so different, it offers something for everyone. For motor racing fans, Pays de la Loire is home to the world famous Le Mans 24hr race. If shopping is more your bag, then Nantes, the region’s capital, or Angers give you the perfect opportunity to shop until you drop. One of the most surprising things about the region is that it is bursting with creativity, transporting you to other worlds, like the ‘Machines de l’île’ in Nantes, inspired by Jules Verne or ‘La Nuit des Chimères’ in Le Mans, a spectacle of light and music, celebrates the city’s exceptional heritage. You can lose yourself in magical gardens at Terra Botanica and revisit times gone by at the Puy de Fou historical theme park – there really is something for everyone!
