« The Russian Music from 1870 till nowadays »The growing success of the music festival «  La folle journée » since 1995  in Nantes can be explained by the rigour and the intelligence of the programme prepared by the Artistic Director, René Martin, and by the demand to do away with the habits of conventional concerts, while respecting musical quality and the expectations of both newcomers and seasoned music lovers. It represents 270 concerts and 1,800 enthusiastic musicians in direct contact with the audience, in the space of just five days.
